WELCOME

Nampa and District Museum construction is complete. A Farmer's restaurant is now open next door. The Museum was formed in 1978 to collect and preserve the areas culture and artifacts. The museum includes a historic house open for viewing.

This is an 8300 square foot project housing the museum, village office and a farmers restaurant. Designed in the shape of an old railway station. The museum features an Oil & Gas visual interactive display, an old school room, taxidermy collection, a historic boardwalk featuring 4 different business of that era, a gift shop and fossil collection. All indoor displays are wheel chair accessible.

Hours
10-5pm Daily until Mid September.
Winter hours will be from 10-2 Monday - Friday.

Admission
$12 per family, $5 per adult, $2 per student and 6 and under are free.

Community Garden
Come and check out our brand new Community Garden with Fruit and Veggies for all!
Garden plots are available to rent come the spring. Gardeners are encouraged to grow vegetables, herbs and flowering plants.

The benefits of community gardens include:
  • Provide opportunities for individuals and community groups to grow gardens
  • Improve our connection and understanding to the sources of our food
  • Strengthen our neighbourhood connections
  • Eat healthy fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Engage in physical activity, and skill building
It is each gardener’s responsibility to maintain their plot.

Plains and West Coast Native American Artifacts donated by Dr. Welch
And a UFA display.
